AGORA - an iconic building dedicated to tomorrow’s research

In the heart of the hospital complex
By building a translational oncology building on the CHUV site, Lausanne is making the AGORA - Cancer Centre the lynch-pin of a development whose purpose will be to embrace the entire conurbation and unite all activities relating to this field throughout Switzerland.
The site will be home to researchers from all backgrounds gathered together in a remarkable concentrated hub of cancer-related expertise. Serving as the keystone of the interactive and thematic environments accessible to members of the new oncology department at CHUV/UNIL and ISREC/EPFL, with a special wing dedicated to high-profile seminars and meetings, this building will also be able to accommodate its senior management’s offices.
