On World Cancer Day, the ISREC Foundation, in collaboration with the CHUV and the HUG, will take action against this disease, which remains a major health issue throughout the world. A public conference, presented by Isabelle Moncada, will take place at the headquarters of the ISREC Foundation, in the AGORA – Pôle de recherche sur le cancer, on February 7th, starting at 6 pm. New discoveries for the treatment of cancer are the focus of this event.

Congratulations to Prof. Ping-Chih Ho, stipendiary of the ISREC Foundation: he is this year’s winner of the Swiss Bridge Award for his research on indicators in immune therapies.

A beautiful inauguration ceremony for the AGORA cancer research cluster, in the presence of the partner institutions and political representatives of the Lake of Geneva area.

Once again, the SUR-SRP “Summer Research” program (July 4 to August 29), organized by the UNIL and the EPFL and supported by the ISREC Foundation, was a huge success. The students returned home with many new impressions and ideas, grateful for this exciting opportunity.

The COBATY Prize recognizes people, companies, associations or projects having significantly contributed to the positive influence of the act of building in a broad sense of the term, be it in the construction sector, in urban planning or in the environment of the Lausanne region.
