Cancer research depends on high-level collaborations. Many scientific institutions and universities in Europe and North America maintain close ties with each other. The results of their research are regularly published in the best international scientific journals.
The ISREC Foundation is located at the heart of a particularly favorable ecosystem for the fight against all forms of cancer. Over the past century, Lausanne has developed into a hub for oncology research, through the grouping together of several institutions.
On a national level, research is coordinated with Swiss universities and university hospitals.
Numerous players in biomedical cancer research are grouped together in the Lausanne region, in particular within the Swiss Cancer Research Léman, housed in the AGORA building of the ISREC Foundation. The SCRL partners are
