Congratulations to Joëlle Ka Yann Ho !

Congratulations to Joëlle Ka Yann Ho, the winner of the ISREC Foundation’s 1st PF Leyvraz Award, promoting interprofessionalism in oncology.

Joëlle Ka Yann Ho has been a nurse in the Oncology Department of the CHUV since 2017, and is in the 2nd year of her Master’s degree in nursing at the Institute of Higher Education and Research in Healthcare (IUFRS). In the context of her studies, she is writing a thesis on the health-related quality of life of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors treated in a university hospital. The jury was convinced by the precise design of the project, its relevance to patient care in the oncological setting, and its capacity for practical implementation.

Created by the ISREC Foundation in 2019 to honor the commitment of the former director of the CHUV to its Foundation Council, the Pierre-François Leyvraz Award is granted each year. In the context of professional training, it honors projects supporting interprofessionalism in oncology.
